Ian is home! It is a miracle that he is survived his fall but it due to all the people who supported him and us that he is home safe. We cannot thank you enough. He is now in QE, receiving the best treatment thanks to the NHS.

It is nothing short of miraculous that he is still with us. Thankfully, Barney is being positive about coming home and looking forward to rehabilitation that will restore some semblance of normality for him. He will have to adapt to being disabled as he has had one leg amputated below the knee. Unfortunately, he does require further treatment as his injuries were so catastrophic. He must have his other foot amputated and is desperate to be in the UK for this as he is feeling increasingly isolated from his family and friends.
