I’m hoping to raise £4,000 to bring Dad home and give him the funeral he deserves.

On Wednesday 13th May 2026, while on holiday in Spain, Dad suffered an unexpected heart attack. He was rushed to hospital, received three stents, and was taken into ICU. Despite the hospital being fully aware of his dementia and overall condition, they allowed him to discharge himself from the ICU on Thursday 14th May without contacting any of his family. The following morning, Friday 15th May, Dad tragically passed away due to a cardiac rupture.

We are now facing the heartbreaking reality of bringing him home without the support of his travel insurance, which has refused to cover the costs. Any help—no matter how small—would mean the world to us during this incredibly difficult time.
