I've raised £800 to Help Kay get back on the Road

On the 20th October just before 10pm, somebody came in to my home, stole my Girlfriend's car keys and headed off in the Car while we were upstairs. We didnt hear a thing. This was found days later smashed up, abandoned and they had tried to set it on fire. As if the devastating realisation that somebody came in to my home wasnt enough but then for them to cause all that damage to the car it's just heart breaking.😔
My girlfriend suffers from Psoriatic Arthritis which is a condition that affects her mobility on a daily basis so relies on her car for her many hospital, physio and doctors appointments, she also needs her car due to difficulty at times walking short distances. At the moment the stress she has faced because of the theft has caused a flare up and she is really struggling to manage without her car.
This incident has caused her and myself a great load of stress, upset, hurt, sleepless nights and aggro and was something we never thought would happen to us.
Although the vehicle was fully insured, this wasn't a brand new car and when it comes to an evaluation and offer from the insurance for Kay to replace her car, it may not be enough to get her back on the road as quickly as we would like. The police dont really care, it seems to them 'just another car theft statistic' and the insurance have been nothing but added stress. Kay hasnt even been able to get a courtesy car as her car is looking like a write off so this isnt covered. Plus It isnt just the cost to get a new car she is facing, insurance will now increase and her no cliams will be lost as a result of another persons selfish act.
Any help towards our fund is greatly appreciated and will help Kay out a great deal. Getting her back on the road means so much to myself and her So thank you for taking the time to read my story.
