    Story

SAM'S STORY SO FAR...On the 18 May 2017 Sam bathed Frankie and then got in the bath herself to try and relax as she suffered a bad headache all week, a short time later Sam shouted for help and Frankie came back up stairs to find her Mum splashing in the bath and found all the shampoo bottles in the bath, thinking this was what her Mum wanted her to do, Frankie picked all the bottles up out of the bath, Sam told Frankie she needed to get help; so she went down stairs put on a pair of leggings a vest and her school shoes, she then unlocked the front door and went to a neighbours house and knocked on the door, when she didn't get a answer Frankie went and stood in the street and started to shout for help until a neighbour from across the road came out - Frankie explained Mummy was poorly and she tried to knock on the next door but they must have been in bed - It was as Frankie was telling this to the neighbour when Pam arrived (mothers intuition) ... Sam was soon rushed into hospital being treated with a bleed on her brain and a stroke. Sam was in a induced coma for weeks with all of her friends and family fearing the worst but we all knew she was a fighter and we all had faith in her. It's the hardest thing ever watching a family member suffer when her recovering is out of our hands. Seeing Sam in ICU - non responsive , we would stand by her side praying and hoping she would wake up back to "The Old Sam" we would sit and talk to her hoping she would just wake up... each day went by and she fought harder and harder each day. Sam slowly came round , luckily to our amazement Sam could remember everyone and she could speak but unfortunately Sams left side of her body wasn't working, she has lost minimal sight in her left eye meaning she cannot see things to the left of her and her arm and leg Will not work! This page is to help Raise money to get sam home! We will be organising lots of fun events so keep tuned!
