Story

We all know someone who has done something kind for us, whose gone the extra mile. It's lovely to be able to show those people a little kindness in return. Book Monster Ally is one of those people. She is a champion of children’s books, writers, illustrators and readers as well as being a ninja librarian. She created the wonderful Picture Book Club logo too.

At the beginning of June, an opportunity arose to do something for Ally in return. It turns out that much-collected artist Leigh Lambert painted her as a child. You can see her in the cover photo chasing her grandad on his bike. The painting has just been released as a print and I’d love to be able to help Ally own a copy. A lovely gallery has given me a really good price for a print and I've paid the deposit which leaves £164 outstanding.

I can't be the only person that has reason to thank Ally. Please contribute a little bit to help make Ally very happy!
