Story

Callie has been training and playing roller derby since she was 9 years old, now, at the grand old age of 15 she's only gone and gotten herself selected for Team GB to compete in the OTA team going to the JRDA World Cup in 2020 being held in Canada 😊

This has been a dream for her to achieve and she's worked very hard to get to this level and be able to represent Scottish Junior Roller Derby within Team GB and to compete alongside the best Juniors the UK has to offer.

She started training with the Fierce Valley Roller Cubs where she learned her basic skills, and then, when they stopped training, she moved to the team at Rollerstop, she also often travels to England to take part in numerous bootcamps, and to play as a guest with other great teams.

Callie is determined to try to find some of this cost herself with sponsored activities etc to cover travelling to training over the 7 months, accommodation, kit, and also getting to Canada when 2020 rolls around (did you see what we did there?) We will be taking part in group fundraising for the full team, but also hoping to get individual funds raised, which is what this page is for.

Sadly as derby is a bit of a niche sport (boooooo) she has to turn to the wonderful derby community, friends and family to help.

Please if you can, donate here, or sponsor her in anything she is doing. Every little helps and is hugely appreciated ☺️
