Story
Lilia was born without a heartbeat. After being resuscitated for 10 minutes she came back from the dead, her determination being a sign of things to come. Lilia had been deprived of oxygen for at least 10 minutes and was pronounced HIE Grade 2. She began to miss milestones from an early age and was diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy at 5 months old. This means she is unable to sit, crawl or walk independently. Intensive therapy could help her development and independence for the future.
