Yesterday, the call came from across the ocean, My breathing stopped and my heart fell. "The cancer is back Love and it's spread. I need you here."
Loving someone continents apart has never been easy and we've been diligently working on ending that distance permanently. Then a silly miss by Doctors here, and I became very ill in the last year and nearly died, a day away from death they say, I had emergency surgery, and I am finally recovering. But that ate into our saved money having to cover the bills and etc while I was unable. This had put a hold on our plans for me to move and for us to be together. My Love had cancer 5 years ago but had been in remission. The person I love is very ill, I need to be there, to hold hands, to support to feed, to care for and love. Time is no longer our friend, we can't wait till I've managed to build my savings back up again. The person I love needs me. We have survived this last 2 years with visits and everyday communication on the net and phones, but this is something I cannot do long distance. I need to be there to go through the chemo, drive to appointments, feed, hold, love and care for My Love. Right now all I need to raise to be able to travel, survive and be there for the person I love and help them fight this battle on which the odds we are told are not in our favour, is a little bit of random kindness. So please every little bit helps and both our us will appreciate every minute your mercy and giving can buy us together. I am not in the habit of asking for help, but I find my heart breaking at every minute that passes where the person I love is suffering and I am not there to to give the comfort, love and support that a soulmate should give. I am willing, and I just hoping you can find it in your heart to help me get there, to help a beautiful, giving, loving, creative, wonderful person not have to face some of the darkest days of their life alone.
