Hello, My name is Mia Jacobs and I have just turned 9 years old. I live in Raynes Park with my mum and dad and two sisters. I have been racing BMX for just over a year now and I love it. I started when i was 7 but have always raced up, meaning i have raced in the age 8-10 catagory with my older sister Teagan.
I have done really well this year with my racing and points, because of this I have made it to compete in the BMX World Championships in July 2017. The Championships are being held in South Carolina in the USA.
This is such an amazing opportunity for me, and I really really want to be able to represent Great Britain to the best of my ability.
I will be working extremely hard on my training in order to get me in the best state for the race, the only problem is the cost. Its going to cost a huge amount to get me there, and I am asking all you lovely people to help me if you can. Whether it be a donation to the costs, or sharing this page everywhere you can, I will appreciate it all.
My mum and dad are working very hard to get me there too, but they could use a little help.
Not only are my parents saving, my older sister Teagan has just managed to publish her very first book, which is fantastic for her. She has very kindly offered to donate all the money she makes from the books to my fund too. Thankyou sis xxx
You can buy a copy of her book from my mum, by texting her on 07938588088, Teagan is also more than happy to personally sign each book for you (please add a message you would like in the text) payment can me made via paypal at email@example.com @ £5.99 a copy plus £1 postage cost.
