Story

My 75 year old partially sighted mother in law had her mobility scooter stolen from the side of her house in the early hours of Monday morning. She has severe difficulty walking more than a few steps and her scooter is a lifeline for her. It does not come under her house insurance as it was parked outside at the time. And who would have thought that anybody would try and steal a mobility scooter? I would like to raise a modest amount to try and replace the scooter with a second hand model of similar style. If there is any extra money raised, we will use it to modify the fencing around her house so we can accomodate the scooter in a safer place.
