My dad was a biker and belonged to a club and I used to go to rallies with him all over the UK and went as far as Paris up until I was about 14/15.
I have always wanted to get my bike licence and a bike and ride to rallies with him as a majority of rallies don't allow cars as well as go on sunday rides and spend quality time with him,but always thought I can do it next year as you do. unfortunately my dad passed away 4 days after my birthday in 2016,after a short illness.On his funeral he had a procession of bikes following the hearse to his final resting place and just having those biker friends who I've known for years and some who I only just met helped with that pain of that whole day.
So I'm starting this page to get my license and bike and equipment to ride safe and that will enable me to go to rallies and carry on them memories with my children and remember the good times I had with my dad and maybe return the favour of being there for someone else one day. I know I am asking for a lot but I just want a decent bike to fufil this wish and any money left over will be given to pancreatic cancer charity.
