I have been extremely fortunate to have been awarded a scholarship place at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts commencing August 2018 for two years. Those of you that know me know that performing has been in my soul since a small child and I have pursued this dream at every instance. You can see my work on my YouTube links and Bizzykidz profile! This next step is the ultimate dream come true and the most amazing opportunity for a girl like me from a small village in Kent. The downside is that the scholarship of $12,000 per year is just a third of what I need to raise each year to attend as an international student; taking into account tuition, accommodation, travel, insurance and general living expenses (expensive in NYC!!!). I know that it's a huge amount of money. My parents support me every inch of the way and will be the ones paying my living expenses as I can't work on a student visa. Thankfully only the first year needs to be "liquid" funds, so ideally I'm looking for sponsorship that will pledge the same amount for the second year. In the mean time, I'll be working my butt off to get there, and can offer my assistance to you in anything you need help with in exchange for your donation. No job too small!
