It is currently known worldwide that Ukraine has been attacked by Russia and therefore displacing many citizens and non-citizens of Ukraine.

In Ukraine, there are over 1000 students from Ghanaian students and an unknown number of Ghanaian citizens who in their quest to move to safety have been displaced and some have become stranded at the borders.

There are also students in the Eastern part of Ukraine (Sumy, Kharkiv and Poltava) who are currently trapped in their cities and cannot move due to lack of transport and ongoing severe shellings from both Ukrainian and Russian armies.

For this reason, we are raising funds to help them and others to a safer place.

They need us at this crucial moment. Mainly, for students trapped in their cities, they will need help with their daily upkeep, maintenance, welfare and transport to escape when the time is right.

Those on the borders need transport and accommodation until they can be safely returned to Ghana via flight.

Your contribution will make a difference and will be appreciated let us join to rescue our students from this tension.

All contributions will be sent to students' visa cards - we have been told they can use these cards in supermarkets and still withraw money from ATMs.
