During the last 6 months i have been through the scariest time of my life, from being ignored by doctors to taking myself to hospital where they discovered both pneumonia and a very large mass in my chest.
After numerous biopsys and tests and a what seemed like a forever wait i was diagnosed with two forms of Lymphoma, Hodgkins AND Non Hodgkins Lymphoma (i had to have both, i dont do things by halfs).
Once i was finally diagnosed i was handed over to the Halton PIU team who not only administer my chemotherapy but look after me Daily on a need be basis, they are there for me anytime, they gave me strength and posativity when i needed it most and made me feel like everything was going to be just fine from the moment i met them. They work SO hard under such busy circumstances and never does a smile leave any of their faces!
Im not quite finished my treatment yet and still have a little way to go but i know there are lots of equiptment that can be bought to benefit this close friendly and life saving ward and id like to do all i can to help them And say THANK YOU 💜💚
