Story
The South Devon Branch of the Parachute Regimental Association (PRA) consists of veterans that have served within the Airborne forces. Our President, who is one of our oldest members, is an Arnhem Veteran, and this is the reason I am asking for sponsorship.
My mission is to raise funds in an attempt to ensure that we may help as many of our members to visit Arnhem in 2019. This is especially poignant as it will be the 75th Anniversary of the Arnhem campaign where so many men and women lost their lives. This will most probably be the last “big” commemoration to honour those Civilian and Military personnel that sacrificed themselves to secure and protect freedom.
I will be competing in the GEOPARK TRIATHALON on the 8th July 2018. Adrian Henman has generously offered to donate a further £25 if I come 3rd, £50 for second place and £100 is I come first. No pressure then! Thank you for your support.
