Story

I have been inspired by three amazing people who have all been directly affected by different forms of cancer. I would like the chance to help these people by supporting charities that are close to their hearts.
I am cycling from Land's End to John o' Groats in June/July. That is 1,000 miles and just over 18,000 metres of elevation. I am taking 19 days to do this (I will need all that time!)
Active Against Cancer has been an excellent support for my husband Lee and many other people in the Harrogate area. They have, through exercise, prepared people to be in the best position possible for treatment.
Blood Cancer is a charity supported by James Badger after losing his wife Phillipa. He has raised money through amazing challenges and was the inspiration for me doing the cycle ride. I was lucky enough to meet this family through teaching his children.
Capture is a relatively new charity started by my friends Aaron and Vicky Robayna after tragically losing their daughter to Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour, when only seventeen. Again I was fortunate to have met Liz and hear about her adventures in her last year.
I would appreciate any support for each or all of these charities. If you would like your donation to go to a specific charity please let me know. Otherwise I will share the donations equally across the three.
