Story
Metal for Life NI is a community group which supports the mental health of Metal music fans in Northern Ireland. Founded by Gillian and Ahti Kansanaho following the tragic death of their son Dani, Metal for Life NI offers free-of-charge peer support groups, education on mental health and a non-judgemental, listening ear to those who need it within the local metal community. Our ethos promotes inclusivity, empathy and respect.
We rely on a small team of dedicated volunteers and public donations to provide a beneficial service to everyone who needs it. Every person we reach is important. Together we can make a difference to the lives of the amazing people in our Metal Community in Northern Ireland. Thank you for your donation. t could help to save a life.
