I've raised £250 to Help the homeless in Birmingham and subject Gillian to a 20 mile hike!

Help me raise 250 quid for the homeless in Birmingham and subject me to a 20 mile hike in the process!!
My friend Kerry Lenihan set up a Operation Drawstring which you can read more about below but the gist is we're raising money for those less fortunate that have to spend the cold winter months on the streets - so please give whatever you can afford to make this reality a bit less harsh and to bring some joy to those in difficult circumstances. Rest assured every single penny goes directly to those on the streets.
Thank you so much for contributing! It means the world to me to be able to participate and help raise money for such a worthy cause.
Operation Drawstring:
Operation Drawstring initially began as a social action project which aimed to spread some cheer to those on the streets of Birmingham this Christmas. However this has now advanced into a year round operation. Providing support, essentials and advice throughout the seasons. The campaign is very simple, it involves members of the public putting together a drawstring bag (waterproof, durable, and easily portable) of essentials and some luxuries for a member of the homeless community.
A small team of volunteers then carry out regular street walks to hand out the bags with any spare bags are distributed to hostels/shelters after each walkround.
We managed to collect, pack and distribute over 500 bags last year and aim to double that in 2017.
Hike For Drawstring is part of this year's Winter fundraising efforts. Hikers will take a signposted route through the Peak District area totally approx. 20 miles. The sponsorship you raise will go towards our biggest ever Christmas Campaign.
