Weʼve raised £590 to Fund a RSIS Project in order to help build facilities and improve infrastructure for Ng'aroni Primary School in Tanzania
- Funded on Saturday, 3rd December 2016
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
I have been selected to go on a RSIS (Round Square International Service) project to Tanzania in July 2017, in order to help the Big Build project taking place in the community of Marangu. Myself and others working on the project will be improving educational facilities and infrastructure in Ng'aroni Primary School. This will have a positive impact on two schools: Ng'aroni and also Mbahe Primary whose facilities are currently being used by the Ng'aroni students as they have insufficient facilities of their own. We will be working on and renovating the initial construction of the school for Ng'aroni for which the basic foundations have been built but not yet completed. Improving these facilities and infrastructure will mean that Mbahe School finally gains full use of its facilities and Ng'aroni pupils will finally have their own and also means that the pupils will no longer have to walk miles to get the Mbahe school to use its facilities. In constructing the new primary school from the current foundations, we plan to build and develop the school to have classroom, toilets, a library, a staff room, wash facilities and eventually teacher accommodation. In order to attend and be a part of this amazing project I am in need of £2000 which will cover my meals, accommodation, transport and visits throughout the service project, not including my travel and vaccination costs. This incredible service project is a once in a lifetime experience which I am extremely excited to be embarking on, but can only do so with sufficient funds. Not only will your kind donations be helping me take part on this project but they will also be helping the community of Marangu and the two primary schools finally receive the help and facilities they need and deserve. I will be extremely grateful for any donations at all and if you have any further questions about the project I will be happy to answer your questions at: email@example.com
