Story
I have a cat rescue
The Emergency Cat Hotel
(you can find me on fb).
It is a non-profit organisation which helps as many cats as I can in my local area of Winsford and surrounding towns.
I have been helping cats for many years now.
I recently helped a long term stray cat called Raggle.
H was in the vets for over 2 weeks to try and help heal a terrible wound to his face.
Unfortunately on
Tuesday 1st August
we had to help Raggle cross to The Rainbow Bridge
as he had deteriorated terribly.
His blood Count was now zero as was his immune system and bone marrow levels. He had also lost 1kg of weight too.
This was a terrible shock to us all as there had been small improvements each day but we had to consider Raggles quality of life to which I had a duty of care.
His total vet bill came to just over £3000.00.
This fundraiser is in honour of Raggle to help my rescue to remain open to enable us to help so many cats which need us at the moment especially due to the economic climate.
I am only a small rescue but I currently have 23 cats with me at home(yes some are my own!) around me working a full time job.
Some weeks I can be at the vets every night after work when I finish at 6pm.
