We are two lucky people who have everything we need and can provide for our family and future. We need no present other than the knowledge that we are contributing towards a good cause.
We have chosen this charity which supports children living in poverty in Sri Lanka with the hope we could visit the beneficiary in a couple of years so that our children can learn the importance of giving. We hope you can help towards achieving our goal to raise the money to really make a difference in the life of these children.
We will be contributing as well but your help is the best gift we can ever hope for!

This is the message received by Plan International that I want to share with you all: The £440 you have raised with your supporters is enough to pay for a year’s teacher training for a young woman in Sierra Leone. In Sierra Leone, 73 per cent of girls don’t finish their education, just 12 per cent of teachers are women. This has a negative impact on girls’ attendance and learning in school, and reinforces low aspirations and confidence. You can find out more about our work to change this by watching Marmie’s story.
