Story
You may be aware of the recent passing of our friend Phil Alexander. It is an extremely sad loss for his family and all of us that knew him.
His loving partner Liz had been caring for him for many months whilst also running GI Games, she is a truly remarkable woman...
We all have our fond memories of Phil, generally being that guy who sold us our Geek fix, whether that was a pack of MTG, a Roleplaying book, or our first real boardgame, Phil was always here to advise and tell us a tale of yonder, his enthusiasm for the hobby and the people who played it are legendary.
People have been asking about sending flowers, or if there is anything that they can do to help.
So, we as members of the gaming community feel it's about time we dig into our piggy banks and donate a little something towards giving Phil a send-off that Liz can remember as one that Phil deserved.
You do not have to give a lot, as every single penny helps. If everyone that knew Phil made a small donation, we would easily give him a wonderful send off
