Giraffic Jam (aka Abi Raby) has been selected as part of the first ever Team GB Junior Roller Derby squad! 20 young skaters will be heading to Feasterville, Pensylvania in the US to play against other national teams in the JRDA World Cup. This will be held on the 23rd and 24th of July 2018:

Abi is 15 years old, has been roller skating for 7 years and playing roller derby for 4 years. In this time she has been part of Leeds Doll Factory and Sheffield Steel Junior Rollers. She now skates with Halifax Bruising Banditas Roller Derby (adult women's team) and gives them a run for their money!

Abi has skated in a number of high level junior games in the UK including the MRDA Champs in November '17 and the Women's Roller Derby World Cup in February '18.

Anyone who has seen Abi play will agree she's one to watch! Let's get her out there to the JRDA World Cup!
