Story
The girls team have been inspired by the success of the 2012 Olympic Games and in particular the facilities at the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
Through hard work and dedication the team have been selected to represent Great Britain at this years World Championship in Japan.
British Rafting teams operate on a self funding basis which means each athlete is required to pay for their own equipment, training time, race fees and travelling expenses.
All the athletes are currently in full time education and this year the the womens team are the youngest Great Britain team ever!, therefore any support you feel able to give would be extremely welcome.
