    Story

I am looking to raise funds to support Girls Go for Health Malawi. I am heading out to Malawi in June with four young people from my school to raise awareness of health and wellbeing to support girls remain in education.

“The sheer ripple effect of investing in girls cannot be understated, as the education of girls brings advantages for society that go further than education. Educating girls leads to better maternal health, higher life expectancy and active participation in the socio-economic aspects of society. Educated women are less likely to marry early and more likely to have smaller and healthier families. More educated women send their children to school and protect them from undernutrition, HIV infection, trafficking and sexual exploitation.”

The trip itself is self funded but we would like to raise enough funds to contribute to local projects whilst we are in Malawi.
