I've raised £200 to Help research and support for people like me who suffer from Narcolepsy with Cataplexy.

Narcolepsy is a rare long-term brain condition that causes a person to suddenly fall asleep at inappropriate times.
The brain is unable to regulate sleeping and waking patterns normally.
Not enough support or understanding of the condition is made aware out there, let alone the research.
I'm 27 and I was diagnosed 8 years ago and it's changed my life, I struggle to eat, bathe myself on some days and some days I can barely cope with my own mind.
5 years ago I thought my only option was death because dealing with my condition was too much and it destroyed my mind and soul. Everyone laughed when I told them what I had, I still get laughed at, but when I can barely get out of bed and the frustration I get because of the goals I had travelling around the world to now being scared of being on my own incase I have an episode.
I now have a steady support around me after explaining time and time again what my condition is and how it affects me. Just because I have the condition does not mean anyone else who has it will react the same.
It's about time to raise awareness for a hidden disability which affects a person more than you think.
