Italy was hit by four earthquakes in four hours on Wednesday, killing one and bringing terror to snowbound mountain areas which are still recovering from last year’s series of deadly tremors.

The quakes, all measuring more than five magnitude, struck close to Amatrice, the mountain town devastated by an August earthquake of 6.2 magnitude that left nearly 300 people dead.

People need assistance, they need resources to build up everything but even more importantly they need resources to go back to normality with their lives, and first assistance.

The rest of us Italian want to do something and this is a small attempt to try to contribute and help. I believe each one of us has the power to do something and we should all try to do our best to show our solidariety, to these people that are so close to us, yet in such a difficult situation.

All donations to this fund will exclusively support locally driven relief and recovery efforts from this disaster, throught the Red Cross present there since the very first day.
