Story
✨ Give HOPE to someone recovering from cancer
Every year, more than 1,000 people across Wirral finish cancer treatment, but for many, it isn’t the instant relief they hoped for. Instead, they often feel uncertain, overwhelmed, and unsure of what comes next.
The HOPE Course, created by Macmillan Cancer Support and delivered by One Wirral CIC helps people rebuild confidence, rediscover themselves, and learn practical tools to move forward after cancer.
It changes lives.
But right now, One Wirral can only afford to run one or two courses a year, meaning hundreds of people who desperately need this support go without it.
We want to change that.
Our goal...
We are aiming to raise £15,000 to fund 15 new HOPE courses, giving over 180 people the chance to recover emotionally, mentally, and socially after treatment.
Every donation, big or small directly creates more spaces for people trying to rebuild their lives after cancer.
💛 Why your support matters
HOPE is a safe, supportive environment where people can talk honestly, share fears, find strength, and learn how to live again after treatment. Participants often tell us:
“HOPE gave me my life back.”
“I finally felt understood.”
“It helped me move forward when I didn’t know how.”
🌟 Be part of something life-changing
Your donation today helps someone’s mum, son, friend, partner or colleague feel less alone and more hopeful at one of the hardest turning points in life.
