Sam is 49 years old and is in a home in Likeard,Cornwall. She has Huntington's disease and can no longer talk.
We are trying to raise £8000 for a special electronic tablet that Sam can control with eye movement and she would be able to communicate once again.
It can't replace her voice but it will speak her thoughts for her.
Sam is still very aware and she is excited at the prospect of being able to communicate with her loved ones again.
I am Sam's antie and myself and my colleagues are holding a 24 hour walk a thon where i work (HBH Woolacotts, Liskeard) on 11th-12th August to try to raise as much as we can to buy Sam this special device.
Sam's cousin, Ashley, will be doing sponsored run, date tbc.
We know times are tough but please help us to give Sam a voice.
