What is crowdfunding?

Story
i am planning to help the homeless my reasons for this it that if we just help them and give then a warm home and food for them they could make a difference just like us there people as well.when i see homeless people it brakes my heart to know that they are in so much danger and would do anything for food but we throw away food without any thought of the homeless that would do anything for that scrap of food you through away
