Hello! I'd love you to join me in fundraising for a group of people that work hard to serve others in their local communities, in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia, South America.

A couple of years ago I had the amazing opportunity to work along side some of these inspiring people who dedicate their lives to help families and children in need.

I volunteered for a few months, with a charity education center called Proyecto Jireh. During my short stay I saw first-hand how much of a positive impact it had on those who attended. It is a real haven for the children, aged 4 to early teens. A safe place to learn and play, express themselves and enjoy their childhood- in contrast to the pressures many face to start working at their young age to try and support their family income.

The center provides educational resources that many of the children's families wouldn't be able to access themselves and aims to support children's general well-being too. I witnessed children running in with smiles to enjoy breakfast and lunch with their friends and siblings, many who would have simply gone without had they not come in to the project that day. These daily meals were made by one extraordinary lady who would cook for nearly over 50 people!

There were other extraordinary people I met during my stay, who work at other similar charity-run projects who also show real devotion, humility and perseverance in the midst of life's challenges.

I would love to give something back to them to honour them, encourage them and thank them for all the times they keep putting other people's needs before their own.

These people make a world of difference to many other people's lives and although a little bit of money may not feel like it will make much of a difference to them it will be nice to give a little something to these true givers, that give and give without expecting, time and time again.
