Story

In 2010, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha took over as owner of Leicester City FC. In the years following, the club achieved things the fans could only dream of. He was the driving force behind Leicester City's return to the Premier League and the miracles that followed. Leicester, of course, went on to win the 2015/16 Premier League title at odds of 5000/1 and reached the Champions League Quarter Finals the following year. None of which would have been possible without Khun Vichai.

But the miracles he helped to perform were not just confined to the football pitch. His charitable donations helped to change the city of Leicester. Most notably, his £2M donation to Leicester Children's Hospitals.

He helped to put the City of Leicester in the map, he helped to change the lives of not only Leicester city fans, but the children of the city of Leicester through his own kindness and generosity. He gave so much to our city and expected nothing in return.

But now, I believe the time is right to give something back to him, his family, and their home city of Bangkok. I've found a cause that I believe would have been something Vichai would have cared deeply about, a hospital/care home in Bangkok dedicated to giving care and treatment to orphaned and abandoned disabled children - Camilian Home.

Please help me show our appreciation to Khun Vichai and the entire Srivaddhanaprabha family. I hope to reach my target in time for the one year anniversary of Khun Vichai's tragic passing, October 27th, 2019
