    Story

In 2009 I had planned major surgery for Crohns this left me with an ileostomy (named Gladys) In 2013 we conceived after almost 1 year of trying, Sadly this ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks.
We continued actively trying when in 2015 I was taken for more major surgery and this time was informed that my tubes had been fused to my abdomen lining by adhesions, we were hopeful that after this surgery we would conceive again but this was not the case and we were told the only chance of conception was through ivf on top of this because one of us already has children we would not be funded for any cycles.
We still continued to try with natural conception and also seeking second opinions however ivf still remains our only choice and as many of you know it is not an easy or cheap option this is why we are now asking for a bit of a helping hand from friends, family or anyone who cares, to help support us with our ivf self funding.

To get more insight into our journey please watch us on Dr Christian:Special clinic episode to be aired Monday 4th March 10pm on W Channel (not available on freeview)
Available on Catch up until april 4th
