The Glasgow Honeydews is raising money to make space for all LGBTQ+ people to play baseball, get active and feel empowered and safe.

Raising money will allow us to keep running sessions indoors when it gets too cold in the winter and to buy both equipment and kit to play in. All this helps towards keeping players feel like they're part of team and enjoying our sessions and being out and active!

Feeling part of the community is so important to LGBTQ+ people so we're always welcome everyone to be their whole selves when they play. We recognise that some folk have hidden disabilities and face barriers we haven't anticipated - we're still 100% behind you. We endeavour to maximise accessibility and encourage folks to take regular breaks when they need to.

As a trans-led organisation, we know that feeling pressure to present one way or the other or giving a chosen name and pronouns can be nerve-wracking, but you should know that we always welcome updates of this nature in the names and pronouns circle we do at the start of each session. It's also okay to pass on this too :)
