So we hosted a Glasgow SEO Meetup on Wed the 13th of Feb, great turnout for the first event, great bunch of people that included Janus Basnov, how many would have met standing close to the bar. A Danish guy living in Scotland who came along to the event expecting some good knowledge and networking.

Janus left the event around 10pm and was mugged and beaten up by a couple of guys.

I've decided to make this page to get donations to buy Janus a gift, as a few of our close circle of SEO friends want to club together to show Janus that there is still good people out there and this is a one off incident, it so happened to happen in Glasgow at our first meetup, but anyone going to a meetup should be able to get along without this type of thing happening.
