Dear Shanty Lovers, a very belated thank you to all of you who donated to the Glasgow Shanty Night. It meant that we were able to pay our performers though some chose to ask that we make a donation to a suitable charity. Both Monkey’s Fist and Jim Saville had been due to perform from Robin Hood’s Bay in West Yorkshire on behalf of the RNLI, so we added a little ourselves and sent them a cheque for £100.
