Nigel has been involved in Hykeham Tigers Football Club for over 10 years and he has supported so many children in football.

He has dedicated his time to support me and my team over the last three years as a coach but also as a friend. He is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and would do anything to help others.

This is why myself along with parents of the team are looking to raise £1000 for him and the family to support them in his battle with Prostate Cancer.

Nigel was sadly diagnosed earlier this year and is awaiting an operation and relevant treatment so times will be challenging over the coming months and he will need our help and support.

Myself, Carl Houtby and Ben Kennedy all close friends of the family have committed to run the Lincoln Half Marathon on the first of October. For anyone who knows me this is going to be a challenge to say the least but nothing in comparison to Nigels challenge ahead!

Along with this I am hosting a Charity Football Fun Tournament for our team to play against three friendly teams we know with an added twist of a dads game too which will be interesting to say the least! Over the two events we hope to raise over £1000!

This is the first time I have undertaken this type of fundraising so I hope that family, friends and associates will help support such a great cause. All funds will 100% go to the family to support them at their time of need and any additional will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK.
