I recently have been given the opportunity to work in Australia picking mangoes on a fruit farm. I am a 23 year old British male who has always dreamt of travelling to and exploring Australia, and what could be better than combining this with good honest work to make ends meet?

I live in the British countryside, Devon to be precise. My life thus far has been plagued by mental health issues which have held back my true potential. I am really struggling to find myself currently, I feel very lost in the world and something must change. A move to the other side of the world may sound extreme, but I think it could be exactly what I need in order to learn more about myself, the world, and gain a greater sense of responsibility.

Crowdfunding may not seem like the best way to try and achieve this dream, but I am currently out of employment due to my ill health, and I have no family members willing to help me achieve my goal.

I have asked for £2500 to cover costs of a travel visa, passport, flight, and the excess for security reasons to ensure that I can support myself between arriving in Australia and starting work.

If this even comes close to getting any support I'll be a very happy man.
