Story

The Glenmore Piste Charity (founded by Bill Wilson) has operated the Bombardier cross country track cutting piste machine since 2010. The machine cuts tracks for cross country skiers around the Glenmore Forest (near Aviemore) every winter. So, snow permitting over the coming winter we will once again be cutting tracks! The machine is based at Glenmore Shop and following a service and some repair work we will be ready to get out and cut tracks when the snow comes. But maintenance, fuel and insurance come at a cost so we are again looking for your support to try and raise £2500 or so to cover this year's costs. If you would like to take advantage of the XC tracks this year please consider giving a few pounds to help make it happen. You can see more pictures of the piste machine and skiing the tracks through the forest, as well as keeping up to date with ski conditions by visiting and liking our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/glenmorexcskitracks or search for Glenmore XC ski tracks.
