I've raised £1200 to Kyle and Glenn Mazin Head to Malin Head

Glenn & Kyle have started training for the cycle from Mizen Head to Malin Head in January 2018. The cycle is in memory of their brother Mark Chapman who suddenly passed away from a Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy 20 years ago this July. In completing the cycle we are hoping to raise proceeds for the charity and awareness of Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Mark, Glenn and Kyle attended Markethill High School. Glenn and Kyle have decided they want to give something back to the School in memory of their brother that would be beneficial to the School. After contacting the Principal Mr Maxwell it became apparent that the school was in need of a second defibrillator in the Sports Hall. Mr Maxwell commented "The installation of a defibrillator in the sports complex is something we have been desiring for some time. We have a number of children with heart conditions, and the reassurance of having such equipment in an area where children are undertaking physical activity means the world to us. The school has it highest number of children at the moment, 523 and is due to grow considerable in the upcoming years. As such, we are just thrilled at the prospect of having a new defibrillator, and are very grateful of the opportunity”.
All money raised will go directly to paying for the defibrillator.
