This message is a little late after the London to Brighton event which Team Sam completed in 27 hours. It was the hottest day ever and the terrain was brutal with far more off road than flat roads. The generosity of all our friends, family and others raised a huge amount of money for Sams page and the Brain Tumour Charity for which myself, Paul & Phu are so grateful and thank you all for the bottom of our hearts. with thanks and big love always. #Team Sam. Training has been steady over the last few weeks with some little 10k "shuffles" despite Paul Almond running the distance in lightning quick times and pulling Phu and I along for the ride. Saturday was a big day because Phu went alone and ran almost 20 miles alone and Paul and I cycled 2 laps of Rutland Water a distance of almost 50 miles!! It was hard work and I am still feeling it in my aching limbs today (Tuesday). some small runs now for the next week and a half and then the event. Thanks for all your donations. Team Sam...
