Global Anthem

Drown out the Social media mob with a song of posotive comments sung by thousands of voices

Global Anthem has been created to give social media users a mass of posotive comments to counter Cybe bullying and mob mentality

This mob Cyber bullying rips away an idividual or a organisations confidence. It costs individuals there privacy, there job, there confidence and in some cases ther life

We want to ask People to THINK

Bullying and mass mob targeting is a breach of an idividuals Human Rights… However this is almost never enforced

Your right to be free from mental, emotional and physical violence.  Bullying is a form of violence.

You have a right to be in a supportive environment (be that at school, work or online) that is respectful, safe and free from violence.

Your right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health. Bullying can cause physical injuries, depression and other health issues.

Your right to survival and development. Bullying can have serious impact on your physical, mental, spiritual, moral and social development

Your right to work and have a fair and safe workplace. Bullying at work can lead to physical and mental stress and depression. It can stop you being able to do your job well and cause you to need increased days off work.

Your right to leisure and play. Bullying that occurs in places you play and socialise such as at school and on social networking sites and can impact on your ability to relax and enjoy different activities

Your right to education. Bullying at school can make you feel unsafe and unwelcome. It can impact on your concentration and your mental and physical health. This may affect how well you do at school.

Your right to participate and have your voice heard. Bullying can make you feel unsafe and prevent you from expressing your feelings and opinions at school, home, work, and with your friends.  

You have the right to express your views, to have your concerns taken seriously and to participate in decisions that directly affect you. 

Your right to privacy.  Bullying, in particular cyberbullying can make things that are personal public. You have a right to have your privacy respected by others

Global Anthem aims to turn the tables on this by promoting a positve message through the following

Songwriters

Songwriters – Songwriters are paid members of staff, They oversee and help write the songs that guide and support both the Voluteers (Singers) Voices ( Suporrtive members of the group) and the Victim. All songwriters have experienced been a victim, They have life experience or qualifications in councelling they along with the singers are the first point of contact between Global Anthem, The victim and the Social media bullying. A song writer will look at the thread, group or comments and asses weather the victims human rights are breached, Will asses what action to take and provide guidance to the victim, They will also organise recording information, Reporting posts or comments and collecting information for police intervention. They will write a song that both singers and Voices can respont to

Singers

Singers are volunteers, They are guided by songwrighters, They talk to the victim either through messanger or by phone. A Singer will read the comments in the post, group or thread, They will report and provide guidance. They will help the victim and also supervise and guide the Voices

The Song

The Song is put out into the Public facebook group and Voices are asked to join in on the victims thread. The song has a link to the thread and also the words and rules

The Voices

The Voices are members of our facebook group, They are willing to add there voice into the song on the victims post, Voices agree to the song and “Drown out” the negative posts and comments. Voices do not take sides, they do not argue they just keep repaeting the lyrics and encourage the bullying to stop. Voices are encoraged to report offensive posts to Facebook, Twitter etc etc they are expected to allways follow the lyrics of the THINK song

An example follows

Julie is been subjected to many comments in a facebook group, An ex partner has put up a photo claiming she behaved badly. Within 30 mins of this going live 300 people she has never met or talked to have put a wide range of comments in breach of her human rights. Julie is frightened alone and ditrought

She contacts Global Anthem through the messager app on the Facebook page

Sarah is a songwirghter from Global Anthem sees the massage and asks julie to send her screen shots and also add her into the facebook group

Sarah looks at the conversations and posts. And decides that this is in breech of Julies Human Rights

Sarah contacts Paul who is a Singer, Sarah writes the following song and puts Paul and Julie in contacted

Our aim is to provide thousands of voices to sing the same song and drown the bullies out

Paul supervises the Voices and ensusures no one changes the lyrics for example by taking a side in an argument or posting something not supportive

Julie is then offered web based mediation to try help resolve the issue with her ex partner

The Global Anthem facebook group gives victims a chance to share there stories, With naming names. Its aim is to not only listen to peoples stories but also to show the long term consequences of Cyber Bullying on Social Media

Its the Forum where the Songwriters and Singers Post the Victims songs and ask for voices to support the Victim

We aim to get PR support from celebraties who have suffered cyber bullying by asking them to THINK

Global anthem will be funded by Crowd funding as well as selling supoortive merchendise we ask pople to donate a small amount to pay wages of 24/7 Songwrighters. We hope to have full time web based and telephone based songwriters

If we recive enough funding we intend to send songwrighter out in to the local comunnity in to schools and workplaces to eductae people in Cyberbullying and its consqunces for the Victim

As well as Facebook there will also be a web site with advice and supportive

We aim to build a wall of Shame

The wall of shame will be screenshots without personal details it will show screenshots of the comments victims suffer, The message will be Before you write this THINK
