A message from Lily, Undiscovered Country Project Manager:
Thank you for sharing an interest in our project! At Undiscovered Country we are aiming to support the development of our international programme: ‘All The World’s A Stage - Creative Skills For Global Citizens’.
We will create and use an online global classroom to raise international awareness of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Through this we will be supporting the education and personal development of all students through the use of current and emerging technologies.
We will also focus on funding and supporting individual projects generated by the students. Our first is to raise £350 to provide a replacement shoe cleaning and repair kit for a young man in Kathmandu. His was stolen. He has a pregnant wife and is looking after his 8 year old sister and 10 year old brother in a slum.
Our bigger objective is to raise funds for this three year action based research project connecting students around the world with students in the U.K. The resources we create during this time will be accessible for everyone, for free, forever.
