I've raised £8000 to benefit young people in the global south by giving their teachers the chance to have a voice in the effort to bring ethics into education

We need leaders, and future leaders, who put ethical considerations above all others when taking decisions. We believe that integrating ethics more deeply into teaching in higher education institutions will enable leaders to be the best they can be and bring about positive changes in society.
Inclusiveness for us means having all voices present to be heard and learning from those who have other perspectives than your own.
Taking past experience with travel- and visa costs into account, we estimate the average costs for a participant from the global south at around £ 1,600. The number of people from disadvantaged contexts that can be supported depends on the financial support we are able to receive, but we are aiming to be able to support five participants/experts, which means a request for a total of £ 8,000.
We know from experience that a global event with participation of those who benefit most from it has the greatest impact. The more perspectives that are present, the more we are able to diversify the knowledge that is shared. The participants will give us their expertise, but will also bring new insights to their institutions. This enables global outreach and impact in many different contexts and improves education worldwide.
