Please help us return my sixteen year old nephew Ashley, who has had to have his leg amputated to his family home which he is currently unable to do as the house is totally unsuitable.

Ashley has spent his entire life in pain and has undergone numerous operations throughout his life at Bristol Children's hospital as well as Derriford Hospital, which has stolen his childhood and meant his schooling and social life have always been effected.

Despite all these challenges, Ashley has never complained and gone through it all with a smile on his face and an attitude that he was far luckier than some and was always more concerned about the other children in hospital with him.

Unfortunately after having his leg removed, Ashley now only wants to return home to start the rest of his life and the long road to recovery, however his family home is unsuitable and needs numerous alterations before he is able to return and after everything he has been through we are hoping that the generosity of the general public will assist us with the costs of converting the garden to a disabled parking area, installing double doors wide enough for his wheelchair, interior alterations to increase space and redevelopment of an outbuilding to give him an access to a toilet and bathroom on the ground floor.
