I'm 'lucky' enough to have a place in the Great North Run this year and as anyone who is familiar with my facebook page will know I'm a big fan of what PACT House tries to do for our community.

At this moment in time they don't have a justgiving page, so I have created this page and any and all monies donated will go directly to PACT House.

For those of you who don't know what PACT House do - for my family, they provide a safe place for my son to 'geek out' every week with his friends. They provide a free meal every week for anyone in our community who wants to go. They support people in our area who are homeless. They provide a food bank for people who are struggling. They source, collect and deliver furniture for people who have none. And the list goes on.

I know you will see lots of requests for donations to lots of charities in the run up to the Great North Run but please spare a thought and some change for a local charity, helping local people.
