Hi to all page visitors. Sport is a great way to keep young minds of today focussed on achieving goals, building up stamina and resilience. Great Marlow School has a great Boat Club training regularly on the Thames and last year had a fantastic end to the season with some International Gold in July 2018. This year, we have a hitch in a plans whereby some critical launch boat engines have been stolen. The launch boats are used by the coaches to support and coach the rowers. They are not motor/pleasure craft and are essential for the safe running of the rowing teams aged 12-18. The insurance cover is limited due to the mobile nature of the equipment, which we have to consider in future replacement purchase. We are launching this crowd fund to get up back to square one and ensure the students rowing training is not impacted, which is current state as this is a prime training period. We would be very grateful for and individual donations, or on behalf of a company. We can provide local press coverage where appropriate.
