When offering to help distribute food donated, it came to my attention the couple are using up their own savings to help other people who have no income or are without food due to the Coronavirus pandemic. There are some costs related to collecting the offered donated food, providing PPE etc without them buying additional food. The team are very busy at this time and could do with more funds to help people.

The GO4 cafe, currently closed, has been operating providing a cafe and community meeting point has been operating since 2016 and runs many community and charitable events and it would be good to be able to support them.

Funds will be used for the community and to replace savings (cover costs) spent by the couple at this time related to helping others.

Excess funds will be donated to Colchester Foodbank.
