What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
We are arranging a charity ball for September 2017 to raise money for Christians Against Poverty. https://capuk.org/
We need to raise the money for the hire of a hotel in Southampton to ensure we have a venue to hold our fund raising event.
The money will be used to set up the event, but once tickets are sold the money will go to the charity.
