Story
Please help my Uncle Goatie get back on his feet again (or should that be foot?) after his recent leg amputation.
Some know him as Ian the Goat, front man of Goats Don't Shave and the hilarious Ian the Goat sings Black Sabbath. Some lucky people might have been entertained by him during his 15 years performing in Blackpool or even saw him whilst on holiday during his years in Tenerife. Others my have heard him on the radio, or even been lucky enough to share a laugh with him at a party or at the bar!
He's endeavoured a torrid number of years now, fighting cancer, sharkos disease, and recently even losing his leg, changing his life dramatically. Goatie has just had a prosthetic leg made but can only wear it for short periods of time and he spends lots of time in his wheelchair, in the house. I apologise profusely for the pun, but please help me get him back on his feet, and more importantly, let's help to get him back where he belongs.....on stage!
He needs a specially adapted car and his bathroom needs to be converted to spec. I believe this would cost around £3000. Plus any left over would help kick start his career back on the stage, doing what he does best, entertaining and making people laugh.
Buy Goatie a Pint! (Although Goatie doesn't really drink anymore, he'd very much appreciate the gesture of a Pint's worth donation!) For old times sake and for the future, if Goatie has ever made you smile, made your night, or even made your holiday, please donate what ever you can to help Goatie get back on his feet and back on the stage!

6 years agoGoat has been motivated by everyone's generosity and is now determined to get back up on stage. He has been in touch with some old muso chums, and they are putting a Jug Band together! An exciting new direction for them, and there is even talk of a benefit gig on the horizon. More info to follow...
